| Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction: Making Schools Safer – Course Material (2009)
CBDRR for safer schools was identified as one of the key gaps in terms of training materials; The module produced to address this unmet need. Much of the content for the module has emerged from experience with the Child's Right to Safer Schools Campaign. This experience began in 2001 after the Gujarat earthquake and has now seen wider acceptance in India and in other countries. These experiences and good practice have been consolidated into this module to increase the level of disaster education amongst teachers, children and the community.

| Networking and Learning Together: Experiences in South-South and Triangular Cooperation in Asia (2009)
The publication documents South-South and Triangular Cooperation case studies that reflect the different policy and operational modalities from new development partners such as China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Singapore and Thailand. It describes efforts to facilitate Triangular Cooperation by JICA, and other South-South Cooperation in the region, including by the ASEAN. The case studies presented outline the processes and institutions created to provide development assistance, as well as some of the challenges that these countries face as new aid providers.

| Linking Disaster Risk Reduction and Poverty Reduction: Good Practices and Lessons Learned (2008)
Building on the first publication, entitled Building Disaster-Resilient Communities - Good Practices and Lessons Learned, this publication seeks to highlight initiatives that have successfully linked poverty reduction and disaster risk reduction in various parts of the world including Asia. It features several projects and programmes that show how disaster risk reduction can be integrated into poverty reduction initiatives (or vice-versa) to help reduce the vulnerability of the poor and protect their livelihoods and development gains. The publication published by Global Network of NGOs for Disaster Risk Reduction with co-facilitation from the UNDP Special Unit for South-South Cooperation.
