Understanding Electoral Violence in Asia investigates electoral violence in the region through analyses of case studies commissioned by UNDP for Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Thailand. The paper draws empirical lessons and offers practical policy, legislation and institutional changes for each country to reduce electoral violence.

Asia-Pacific Regional Dialogue of the Global Commission on HIV and the Law– Report and four Regional Issues Briefs demonstrate how the law both impedes and promotes national AIDS responses. The publications are based on more than 120 submissions to the Commission Secretariat from the Asia-Pacific Region and on debates held with civil society members, government representatives, observers and Regional Advisory Group members.
